Mostly the guide rollers are produced from the tool steel W. Nr. 1.2343 intended to be used in the extremely hot conditions (approximately 1000C). Maximum dimensions reach up to 300 mm of the outside diameter and 220 mm in length.
In the production of rollers, Miheu company has developed optimal machining and heat treatment processes. Heat treatment is performed in the company with the full control over all the parameters of the vacuum case hardening.
